Today’s WIP is also known as “Jessica’s Big Fat Hat Fail”.  Remember how excited I was last week to knit the Master Charles hat? Heck, I even proposed to knit five of them so the whole family could wear these lovely matching hats together {insert rainbows, butterflies and unicorns here}.

Perhaps I should have made one first.

Update: I did make one….

…with many

many

many

mistakes.

I guess I’m still just a beginner knitter, as much as I reeallly wanted to graduate into that ‘advanced’ category.  Not quite there.  Can’t anticipate the pattern’s needs.  Not intuitive to the ‘work in pattern’ instruction.  What the hell kind of pattern gives instructions that say to follow the pattern but then doesn’t list the pattern? A pattern for intermediate knitters, that’s what kind of pattern.  Pattern elitists.

At least the baby’s cute. 😉

The man [or woman!] who makes no mistakes does not usually make anything.
